Tillie on the south moor
This was taken on a sunny afternoon when it was bitterly cold but bright. Tillie was enoying a roll on the mossy grass when something caught her eye.

Brilliant shot, Andrew. You have to smile at it- a scene so achingly beautiful that even a dog has to turn to look. Thanks for sharing this.

I really like the composition of this shot. It makes you gaze intently at the distance to see if you can spot what Tillie has seen. My only comment would be to suggest a slight crop at the bottom, putting Tillie a little closer to the edge.

Re: Tillie on the south moor
Thanks Christina, Kevin and Susan for the kind comments. There was a bit more to this story as i had hiked about 3 miles up across the moor to take some photographs. I set up the tripod, fixed the camera and lens only to find the battery was completely flat. Not wanting to miss the scenery i took a series of shots on my i phone and then did a little post processing in camera raw. I hope i wont make that mistake again!

Proving once again that the best camera is the one you have in hand! Very nice photo!

Great photograph. I love Kevin's comment that the scene is so beautiful even Tillie has to look. I would come up with a title that reflects Kevin's comment.
