    Hi Steve,

    Great shot. The blue and green work well togther. The birds pose creates a great diagional line across the image - I like it. I think you could have gone a heavier on the sharpening. The bird feels a bit soft to me. Over all, it's a great shot.

    Yes those were my thoughts as well. Just slightly sharpen up the bird, but not the background.

    I like it a lot. If the bird can be sharpened, fine, but if not it holds up well as is.

    I'd be very happy if I shot it. If you don't mind me asking, what lens?

    Thanks for the input everyone.................the lens was a canon 300 f/4L + 1.4 TC ( 420mm)

    In the past i had the tendency to oversharpen................now not enough I need to hit the middle road.
