A hand-held 3 shot HDR image of benches in a park in Sydney, Australia. Photomatix Pro was used along with Nik's Viveza and color Efex Pro with very subtle adjustments.

Pleasant scene but did it really need HDR to capture it?.

hi Don,
I think this is a very good shot. I particularly like the way the benches and fence lead to the gnarly old tree at the end, which seems to benefit from the HDR treatment. Those Starbucks aren't as easy to find here as they are elsewhere - only a handfull left. Hope you enjoyed your visit.

Hi Rob, I think its York st opposite Wynyard Station ... a friend of mine works at Navitas (i can see the sign hehe ).

I can't understand all that 'Digital Jargon' I would just have loaded up some Fuji 'VELVIA 50 FILM' and got the result much easier!
Yours is good though after all that hard work.

I spent half an hour on Google street view last night looking for that building because I was convinced that I knew the building.. but could not place it.

I walk past that building on my way down to Darling Harbour regularly.

It could probably be caught without HDR but I have fun doing HDR so I do HDR. I like the way I can bring out textures and colors by using HDR.

Thanks Don I was just curious. I do like the fact that you keep the use of it very subtle.
