High surf brought a lot of sea weed onto the beach which apparently is a great food source for sand fleas and flys because there were a ton of them. This was a great opportunity for the Snowy Egrets to get easy food and there were about 20 feasting.
They were a maximum of 1/4" long the blurry light colored areas are ones that had jumped.
The fleas were hopping all over the place by using there tail like a spring getting about 18" off the ground it was gross.
