    forest - panorama

Looking forward to CC and suggestions. This is a 5 shot panorama in portrait mode so as to avoid distortion. Stitching followed by sharpness enhancement using PSE.

    Thanks for viewing.

The stitch has worked well in PSE, Joydeep, but I don't think I have seen another image recently which leads my eye out of the frame quicker!!!

What's in the little valley that you're not showing us?!?!?

I was kind of expecting this comment. You observation is something that I had thought of. However, I was hoping the the sharpening details on the forest would be worth a post.
    Thanks for the comment.

My first reaction was that you'd managed to get an image that did justice to the view but that is pretty well impossible to pull off without stitching. And it appears sharp from the foreground to the distance. I wasn't initially left wondering what's in the valley although I suppose it's an obvious question.

I agree. The scenic view was not quite conveyed. Perhaps I should have shot it from different angle, looking down into the valley. At that moment I was concerned about distortion but I now realize I was incorrect, in portrait mode distortions can be avoided. Unfortunately that day the lighting condition was not encouraging for more test shots.
