done a bit of urban exploring today at a old farm.found this old bike.which didn't look like it had moved in years

Some interest in the bike and the location, but the upside down box and its strewn contents held my attention more.

This image lacks a bit of punch? One of the other folks might help more. I also liked the lower half of the image, with just the bike and the box. I visually cropped at the top of wall as I scrolled down.

It is almost working, Paul.

But for me, there is something missing in the top left corner.

Plenty of interest on the right. Corrugated iron, possibly a door. The bike. In the right side of the background wall there is an old window which has been bricked up at some time. What looks like a dividing wall of some form half way along the back wall.

But then, nothing except the foreground box which doesn't seem to be producing a balanced composition with enough to hold my interest in the top left area.

Maybe try a 5 x 4 ratio crop and lose the box altogether?

But before that, try a little Local Contrast Enhancement, or something similar to see if you can increase the contrast, and interest in the more bland area. There appears to be some interesting texture in the brickwork but it isn't grabbing my attention at the moment.

thats great the poster is a great idea.i think i'll be going back with old style poster and retaking the shot.but maybe put the poster on the thirds.thanks for taking the time to edit my image
