Thanks Howard, I will play around with the original photo and use the ideas that have been posted here.
My view of that particular photo is that I am drawn immediately to the hills lit up by that little bit of sunshine and the moody clouds just threatening them, then I go to the colours of the trees and finally I take in the foreground with the sheep just lazing in the field.
Does that make the picture too busy?
