Hi Jason,
number 2 and 3 resonates most with me. For picture 2 it apperas to me that the tip of the brach should be included. In your last image the red marbel in the backgound catches of most of my attetion (becuase its red...) and pulls me away from the left marbel which is supposed to be the optical center.
