I have been working almost exclusively in mono lately and felt in need of a wee foray into colour.

    All C&C welcome.

Nice one! I like the feeling of ambiguity.

Sharon, I just love the way you developed this image. The only thing I find a bit distracting -- looking at the image microscopically -- is her upper back. Its color and shading doesn't seem to flow with the rest of her jacket.

A beautiful colour palette. Subtle. Understated. Harmonious.

    Wonderful stuff.

Thank you Mike, Karm, Donald and Richard,

Karm...I totally take on board what you say about the jacket. ... think it had a grey hood or cowl attatched. I went back after reading your comment and edited with some burning and cloning but when I loaded the 2 up to flickr side by side it just looked too heavy and the one with the grey 'splodge' featured here seemed to fit well enough with the watercolour feel of the processing. I think I will have this printed up and reserve final judgement until I see how it looks 'in the hand'. Thank you so much for your comments.

I think it is an exellent use of colour, Sharon. When I first opened this image, I was disturbed by the figure on the left. Initially the lack of detail around the face had me thinking that it was a character out of Star Trek etc. But, then I latched onto it...

Greg...yes, that's where the 'Anonymous' of the title comes in.

Simply brilliant. A large print would dress any wall.

Thanks for looking in Sharon. It's all very conventional and I'm so envious that you have discovered a 'style', and quite a unique one to boot. Keep them coming.
