Helpful Posts: It has been really cold and wet here so far this year as across much of the UK. However I find that woodland photography despite being awkward in respect of it being difficult sometimes to see the woods for the trees is forgiving of poor weather photography. The bluebells photo (Learmount Forest)was taken during light rain and the leafy shot (Ness wood country park) was taken between hail showers. Both at woods near where I live.

Hi Kenny.
Nice soft lighting in both your images. The first is probably my pick. Though lacking any definite focal point it is a pleasantly serene image.
A friend of mine is heading to Ireland today. Hope you can turn on some nice weather for him as its been miserable here for the last two days.

Rubbish weather is only that to us humans, cameras enjoy it as much as nice weather so long as you keep them dry

My cameras have never been bothered about a few spots of rain but I wouldn't expect them to live if immersed in a gutter of rushing water [ as happened to one when my wife kicked it out of the car ... or when I left one in a shipwrecked yacht
] and both gave up at such treatment but the RSPOC didn't prosecute.
