Let the birds continue! Marsh Wren

My best shot of this species so far. These little wrens have become one of my fave birds lately. They are sneaky little buggers; like to stay hidden most of the time, making their call from the cover of cattails. You have to be quick when they pop up for a few seconds!

PP involved typical corrections in LR for color balance, then topaz denoise in PS, a bit of blurring out some distractions, and lce, curves, sharpening.

Thank you for viewing and c&c

Excellent photography. Add in the fact that this is a such a small, reclusive and 'flighty' little thing and the admiration levels go up even higher.

    Superb, Matt.

So much to admire, here. I think the background sets the rest of the image up perfectly - can't tell what was blurred out, but the result seems very fine to me.

+1 to what everyone else said Matt,

~ like to stay hidden most of the time, making their call from the cover of cattails. You have to be quick when they pop up for a few seconds!
I know the sort of behaviour you mean and I haven't managed to be quick enough yet!

    Well done,
