Black Cockatoos
Took these a few weeks ago, hand held with Sigma 120-400mm, still not that steady - plus these guys were on the move so I had to be quick, light wasnt great due to lots of trees - auto ISO used for this reason
1. 1/500, 5.6, iso 2000,focal length 251mm ,unfortunately I missed bottom of his tail due to wanting to get close up on face, im still learning! c&c welcome

Harry this guy is lovely. Thanks for sharing. I am sure you will find a day when everything falls into place. It usually does - for me anyway.

Re: Black Cockatoos
Thanks Bobo, I'm not too worried as I am having fun trying, learning all the time, appreciate your feedback, you have helped me with your previous tips.
I actually got quite close to a large flock of white Cockatoos recently, was right on dusk but managed to get some reasonable results, will also post soon.
Enjoy ur weekend mate,
