Looks like an Eristalis pertinax visiting that flower, Joanne.
It is rather dark, but I have noticed that quite a lot of flies are excessively dark this year. Probably due to the cold wet Spring which seems to increase this variation.
Mixing insects and flowers in the same shot often fails because neither one has priority and the focus usually has to be chiefly on one or the other. But in this case the composition is nicely balanced.
