First Bird Photos - Suggestions?
I am about to try my first bird photos. My subject is humming birds. I have a few feeders in my yard and I am starting to have a general flow of humming birds. The feeders are located a very short distance from a deck on the back of my house so I can set up my equipment with a chair and cold drink and wait for action. I will be using my Canon 7D, tripod, remote shutter release and an appropriate zoom lens (18 - 135mm, 18 - 200mm or 70 - 300mm). Since this is my first try at bird photography, any helpful suggestions from experienced bird photographers would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Dr Bob

Hummers are different than shooting any other kind of birds. Small and high speed. Someone who knows more than me will have to provide technical advice. All I can offer is to make sure you want to go down this path before you take that first shot. It's terribly adicting
