I added a touch of red and a far smaller amount of yellow to the entire image.
John (Ansorb): Perhaps my outlook is wrong -- please don't hesitate to tell me if that's so -- but I don't care about whether the whites in this image are neutral. That's because such a small amount of the image is white -- the white of her eyes, the white stripe of clothing, and the white part of the cup that isn't grey.
When I use any of those white areas to set a neutral point, the resulting color balance is all wrong. So, it's more important to me to work on making the other parts of the image pleasing.
