I went back to visit the horned grebe nest to see how things are going. They were hanging extremely close to the nest and constantly coming and going and fussing around. I didn't see them but assume the little guys are hatched. And judging by how ragged mom looks I'd say she's trying to keep up with a bunch of kids.
