Marbles and Leaves

These are my latest two photos, any C&C would be welcome.

I like the marbles shot, a lot. Clever and colourful.

I like the idea of the leaves shot. But ............! I think you've over processed. There are pretty extreme halos on that main stem and leaves that you've sharpened up in the centre. And the sky has got lots of wave marks. So, for me, it's just been pushed too far. Ease up on the aspects of post processing that have caused these problems and you could have a good one there.

Hi Donald,

Thanks for the feedback. I had another go at the processing keeping your points in mind. I was more careful this time, the halo effect was a bit tricky to keep under control due to the original photo being a shot on a foggy morning and shooting into the sun so it was prone to lighten up that whole area around the sun. I skipped some of the Tiffen filters I used on the original as well which helped.
