Off topic some, but I opened Safari and went here: http://www.color.org/version4html.xalter

Safari passed with flying colors !! (groan) . .

. . . as expected, Explorer 8 failed miserably, with 0 out of 4 images correct.

    MicroSoft . . . your consumer dollars at work for you . . .

FYI, Internet Explorer 10 is fine, can't say for IE9 as I don't have it on any systems any more.

    Cheers,

    Hello Mike,

here are some excellent photo viewers and editors. You can batch process JPEG images with ease.

    Monni,

It’s worth checking the dates on threads. This one has been dormant for 5 years, and Mike hasn’t been on the forum for quite some time, perhaps 2 years.

Hi Dan - Checking the date is something that I don't do as much I should. In this case, I totally missed the date because I saw this in "New Posts".... thinking it was NEW! Oh well.... The first two that monni listed are indeed decent PC freebies.

    Interesting day! Enjoy!

I found this software through my local library, it stated that I needed to update my flashplayer to use so I didn't bother trying it out.
