I really like this shot. Better if I didn't have to zoom in.
Jimmy; while the concept is interesting, I'm not sure if this quite works. I assume you were trying so shoot the street and then use the city wall as a frame, but somehow, the wall seems to overwhelm the street scene. I think a tighter crop might help; it certainly is worth trying. The other thing that might help is a different framing. The B&W portion of the shot is about 50% sky; perhaps more cityscape and less sky would help too.
A thought might be to reverse the process and have the main interest (the street) in colour and the wall in mono. I would still try a tighter crop though.
Here's the reedit i did with the feedback i received. i do like the results. i somehow miss the different stones from the wall tho. might just be me hehe.
I do enjoy less sky tho, that was a pretty good call!
i also did try out B&W for the wall and the street in color but it didn't quite look like i wanted, thanks for the idea tho, always appreciated
I really like the second edit. It frames the street view a lot better than the first.
