Re: Excuse me sir, would you like a turtle, with that turtle?
Well seen and captured Matt. No.3 is fascinating but no. 2 is probably the better shot. Leaves me wondering what happened next.

Good photo's Matt. Definitely #2 for me, you're right in darkening the reflection as it really highlights the turtles and I love the expression on the bottom one.
Mate if you went out today with the intent to see if you could annoy a turtle by placing another on top of it, I would have to say job well done

These are fun and I like your thinking on why you presented them as you did. Great job!

Thank you all! I appreciate the feedback and comments.
These turtles haul themselves up on the logs in the marsh so they can soak up the sun. There are so many turtles that the "parking spaces" fill up after several hours, and sometimes they stack themselves up. In this case, I guess the little one was not about to be denied a sunbath, so it had climbed to the top. When the other turtles left, he was left high and dry, so to speak. After a while, he decided to head off, so he wiggled around until he could get a grip and pushed himself off. Plunk, into the water! Then the big turtle got startled and had to regain his balance. It was a joy to watch.

They're all cool shots. I'm a sucker for a good reflection so like the third one too. Thanks for sharing this one.
