Chocolate peanut butter bacon pie! OMG!!!

From a photography standpoint, you might want to use a reflector or flash to eliminate the shadow in front of the plate. Another thought is to place the cake (or is it a pie) on a surface with more color contrast. The butcher block wood color is somewhat similar to the colors of the bacon and chocolate. I wondered if it would look any better on a colored tablecloth - it might not, just an idea to consider.

Ken, you have some good points to consider in the future.As for this shot, well, the only shots to get now are of an empty pie pan. I think I am going to explode!!
