    Re: Sunset on the Farm

I really wouldn't try to get rid of CA with exposure tweaks, but you saying this makes me wonder, since we are talking 'backlit', whether the red channel hasn't overloaded, causing blooming. Can you post a screen grab enlargement?
Hope these work: #1 is the silo from the original photo without any PP

#2 is the original Barn Roof from the same photo. No PP In this case there is a solid white line along the edge

#3 is from another photo taken on the same day. This example is even worse than the rest.

I have other backlit photos taken on the same day that are not as bad. On these, the sun was just breaking through right above, and perhaps that is the cause of the problem. Let me know what you think. Defining what it is will certainly be a step in the right direction.

Here is the original of the corn crib photo without any PP or cropping

As always, I appreciate your time on this. Please don't feel it this has to be addressed right away. It is the holiday season after all. I'll keep a watch on the thread.

Edit: By the way, I put up an album that shows some of the PPd versions. Darkening everything, tweaking the Chromatic adjustment slider, and removing any sharpening that Lightroom put in seemed to tone things down.
