No it is not a cat, it's a ginger piper from the Cobourg Highland Games last Saturday. Working on selective sharpening of the images of last, just the piper has been sharpened.

Looks good Allan. Very easy to over-sharpen hair. You haven't done that.

Nice rich tones that bring out the gentleman's complexion and hair color.
Consider cropping the top. One method is to crop to place the eyes about one-third of the way down from the top. This photo would also work well with a crop just slightly above the top of the hat.
