I know this is not a technically correct photo, but it was a bittersweet moment that I wanted to share. This is my aged gelding, Nick. He is 27 years old now and has an arthritic knee. It may be his last summer with us. This morning, I saw him grazing, almost in silhouette, and it really did look like a peaceful scene.
