Summer Concert - FeatherStone Drive

So, took a slight detour from my regular animal shots. One of the local studios occasionally has an open evening event where photographers and models can come together to practice, network, and relax. This was the first place I took photos of "models". I had a very lucky experience in that I met Camille. She is really laid back and funny. A great person for the new photographer who lack confidence. She also happens to act on occasion in some local troops and has an amazing voice.

Here are some shots of the band at a local summer festival. They were not all that active, jumping around an such -- I know you are suppose to catch emotion, energy, etc. I was just trying to deal with the light.

lol, nice. I thought about how relaxed they were (jean shorts, sandals, and all). All in all they perform because they enjoy and consider breaking even a bonus. Plus they were pretty good.
