    Re: Colorado country road

    Perhaps because I've never played with an image like this in an edit/PP session, this prompts me to wonder what alternative perspectives would look like ???

    e.g. If presented with a series of images, I wonder how the following variations would be received;
    a) Shot lower, higher, to left a right, between different sets of converging lines; kerb and white line, white line and center line, etc., or
    b) with varying 'vanishing point' positions; this is closer to a 1/4 down + 1/4 across, what about at 1/3s or 1/3 + 1/2?

    Not that I'm suggesting this is wrong, just wondering out loud, that's all

    Cheers,

    It looks like part of a bigger picture; that is what I find interesting.

    The sky is so beautiful! I think the road presented a very information of the image. But it might be better not to include the left side of road basis (yellow part) into the frame if possible?

    Yes I have been wondering about cropping a bit from the left side and bottom to make the road appear to run more diagonally and stretch the apparent length. But that means losing some of the hills so I'm not really sure about it.

    Interesting shot and subject matter. How often do we drive by what could be an interesting shot?

    I like the inclusion of the left side of the road, as it presents a "double perspective" to the picture. It also is what was actually seen, which is what I like in a picture of this type. Caveat: My eye is not the same as yours, so take the advice as worth what you paid.
