I'm fooling around with a trial version of Topaz Clarity. I saw they had a "fur and feathers" setting so I tried it on this old photo.

Unfortunately, I deleted the original. However, this improved the shot incrementally. It is clearer without being over-sharpened. I recently bought the NIK package and have been using it within Aperture. I like it immensely. The new Topaz Clarity is very nice too. I'll be doing some more work with it while I'm within my 30 day free trial. Originally Posted by FootLoose
