Still Here!!

Hi all. After a friend on the forum noticed my absence from this forum, flikr and photography in general, he gave me the inspiration for this. Thank's Greg!!!!

The reasons behind it was due to work(doing two jobs), family and any spare time was house work and my other hobby, which is target shooting to which i was busy doing some reloads for a shooting forum shoot through out last weekend. And it was fun meeting new people and shooting my rifles as well as other shooters rifle and really enjoyed the shotgun clay shooting, and due to a person from the shooting forum i am now getting a service rifle and saving up for a shot gun. And its no surprise that my right shoulder was sore for a few days, but worth it! Didnt enjoy the sore foot i had leading up, during and after the event, but fun non-the-less.

Anyways, this is a shooting forum of a different kind, so back to photography. These photos was in my makeshift studio, which happens to be where ever i set up. I had no background(thinking of getting a cheap one of ebay) so i used my camera settings to get the background as black as possible. I used one yn-560iii at 1/16th 105mm through an umbrella, a yn-rc605 on the camera to trigger the flash and another to trigger the camera. I opened up in photoshop to find my photos were jpeg's not raw, to which i forgot to change back after i was testing the video on my 60D. But oh well, i opened up the photos, and added a layer of black and used the extract(i think dont quote me) blend method and used layer masks. And here is the photos:
