Quiet time on the Blue Ridge Parkway
Was out driving with friends and went to this restaurant where out back they have rocking chairs to enjoy the view.

Re: Quiet time on the Blue Ridge Parkway
Looks like a nice place to spend an evening. Alaska is full of mountains and I live at 1500 ft elevation on the flank of one of them. But I still miss the Smokies. They aren't as majestic as other ranges but they are..... comforting I guess is the word that comes to mind.

Very nice image, Mary. I wonder if it would have looked any better if you had physically moved the chairs forward, towards the valley, and then taken a shot without the trees on the right side. You might have been able to find a viewpoint where you could have captured more of the valley and distant mountains. Just a thought.
