Clone feature - free download?

Can anyone direct me to some software I can download for free in order to have a relatively simple clone feature? I find the Corel Paint Shop current version too difficult. I used to love version 4 but it's not available for download anymore, and I have a new computer, so I don't have it anymore...

I never found the PSP clone tool difficult.....a more comprehensive tool is offered in Gimp (freeware).....

For standalone use I suggest Wireworm by MV a free PS type plugin that will work with most programs that support PS type plugins......it is for wire removal but works nicely for cloning and can be used with XnView or Irfanview (both freeware) which support PS Plugins...

If you don't want to go down the Adobe Photoshop Elements road, I like Serif Photo Plus as a reasonably user friendly programme. You often see version 8 as a freebie which works OK but the Clone Tool was improved in version 10. The current version X3 will cost around £50.

Personally, I liked the clone facility which was in the Micrografx programmes (the first editing software which made sense to me) but I think they were bought out by Corel several years ago.
