    Thanks guy's...............she's nesting under the back deck. Been at it for a couple of days now. Tried to get her in flight, but couldn't get a good focus.

    Thanks greg, yes it is dew. She is mildly backlit , which is why the dew looks like little dots.

    Cheers Steve,it,s called a Gold Finch they don,t hang about therefore a quick grab and shoot,the small birds seem to be quite plentiful around my area this year for some reason,they have been not too many in recent years but the Magpies are everywhere,10 to 15 years back one would never see a Magpie here think they might be at their nests or killing the smaller birds,thanks again....
