We have been home for a week and have five new foster Maltese with us. Here are two of them.
I bailed out Liberty from a shelter a day before they were going to put her down. No one wanted to adopt this darling little dog because she has a hip problem which might require surgery. She is safe now and has an appointment with our orthopedic vet next week...
Peanut is another great little guy! His family turned him into a shelter and we bailed him out also. He is as much fun as he looks and is going to a new home tomorrow!

Liberty (named because we rescued her close to July 4th) has bonded to me and follows me everywhere. She is the sweetest pup in the world...
