Hello everybody, just joined today to this forum, looking forward to learn from your critique. I'm a commercial pilot from Mexico, working for Asiana Airlines, living in Seoul, South Korea.

Last December as a Christmas gift I gave me a Canon 50D, so I decided to learn to used the camera in manual modes, rather than in auto. I been reading and trying to take good phots, the nature of my work gives me the oportunity to vist several places in teh world, so I can stamp in my images the culture and the beatifull views around the world, my family can see them, not just I will explain them.

I will appreciate very much your comments. Thanks.

    Hi Jose,

A big welcome to a fellow pilot (I still kinda-sorta think of myself as one, even though is was only singles and light twins in a "previous life"). What aircraft are you flying? 737?? 757? 767? Airbus? PIC? Co? How many hours?

Hopefully not either of these two ... !

    New in your forum

Hope you'll pop a few in-flight shots into a gallery here for old "pretend" pilots like me to appreciate!

    Hi Jose,

Very impressive stats - somedays I wish I'd followed that path I bet you'd be keen to transition to the 787 (I've heard it's just completed it's first test flight, and performed better than expected). I've been lucky enough to fly in the jump seat in numerous regional flights around New Zealand ( I still maintain that it's the 3rd best seat on the aircraft, after the 2 right at the very front) - hopefully one day I'll get to ride up front in a commercial jet (or a military one -- a ride in an F/A-18 Hornet would also be quite acceptable )

Look forward to seeing in-flight shots from the flight deck

Doh - I've just clicked that the "777" in your username equates to the B777 you command.

Boy-oh-boy, am I slow tonight or what!

PS: I've just been looking at some B777 cockpit photos - what are the two additionals displays on the port / starboard side of the aircraft adjacent to the pilot / first officer's legs?
