    Escapees from the lily beetles

The last few years we have been inundated with lily beetles...not many have survived....

    C&C welcome.

    Hi Joanne,

You almost got the image inline - you just used the wrong button (Link should have been Insert Image a few to the right) - anyway, I fixed that.

I have to say I am confused as to the subject; the title and text originally had me thinking the beetles were the escapees - and hence the subject, then the penny dropped, you meant these lilies are the escapees and not many lilies have survived.

The exposures looks good and the composition too.

If I have one suggestion, it would be to clone out the background thing on the upper left edge of frame.

    HTH,

Thanks so much Dave. I will endeavour to use the correct icon next time!

Sorry for the confusing title....the funny thing is I only noticed the two lily beetles munching away after I put the photo up. I wish they had been in focus as well. I find I am having some trouble choosing the correct setting for focussing in general...

I have a (new to me) Nikon D5000.
