Nikon P90 ... a lot behind the Canon G11 according to most reviewers I trust - (and some I trust with some proviso) - in this case DPreview for example is on the ball. As of today, april 2010 neither of Canon or Nikon has a "decent" P&S P90 or G11. Best for that size would be the Panasonic GF1.

Low light capability is a must for me, so I go with any of the Fuji SuperCCD digicams. Pictures taken with on-camera flash I find generally too flat and uninteresting. Some examples, with the F50fd - modded in poladroid for better rendition

None would be possible without flash with any of the Nikon or Canon/ Sony P&S. Maybe the Panasonic LX3 might have gotten good results used in raw.
