I like the composition of this shot. The way the three men are crouched down in what appears to be a tight space amongst the stock, suggests to me a stolen moment for pleasure or escape from the daily grind/reality of local life.

They are playing Chinese chess. The rule is when bystanders are around, they are not supposed to help out, but they often do. It's interesting that 3rd man has his mouth covered! He is considered a good bystander for sure.
