All of these aircraft at one time or another, represent some one's creative ideas. It's good that even in these financially difficult times, it is possible to preserve and fly them.

That is excellent air show photography, especially the panning shots. I'm very poor at these. Very few air shows around the USA this year because of budget cuts (politics). I love old planes (I'm pretty old myself)! Thanks for the link, Jcuknz.

I love the Shuttleworth collection with its unique collection of old vehicles and plains especially when they do there evening air shows.

Wow . . brings back memories:
Procedure then was to make one pass down the grass runway to alert the R/C model fliers, do one circuit and land. Was too busy looking out for errant model planes, I came a bit close to the fence at the threshold
Happy days, 33 years ago . . .

The one that caught my attention was the Lysander. An unusual beastie even in its heyday I think.
