I like the last pic the best.

Great shots Vanessa. Which sites were you at?
We were up to the old Picton air base a couple of months ago your images 4 & 5, got some great buildings for movies and such. There are a lot more along some of the lesser used side roads.
Cheers:
Allan
The last photo is North Marysburgh Centennial School, the collapsed building and the one below it are at the Picton Airport which is still used as a Cadet Flying school, the piano was an old church that we just came across by accident. There are lots of them in the area and we ended up being there all day.
The below photos are from an old Marysville Garage and Corner Store.
Thanks Vanessa & Alland! We are hoping to head down that way mid to late August, so there are a few places on my "drive by" list.
This set is really nice, Vanessa. If bail had been required, the photos would have been worth it.
I have a difficult time deciding which one I like the best, but given my music background I just have to settle on the second one.
Hi, Vanessa. Well done images of abandoned, decaying buildings.
I like the 2nd one in the first set, and the 3rd one in the 2nd set.
I have and they list a lot of places all over Prince Edward County, hence my question about the specifics.
I found about Balaclava ON from that website as well as http://www.ghosttowns.com/canada/ontario/ontario.html, so it might be useful to you too.
I posted a few shots from that site:
Balaclava Ontario - Ghost Town
They are all good, but I like the first two photos best. I like the wood tones in the first one and the composition in the second one.
Thank you everyone. I adore taking photos of abandoned places and I like when people enjoy them. I have really stepped it up since I purchased my Sigma 10-20mm because that lens makes all the difference in the world for these shots. I really like the way the piano keys turned out because it was tough climbing over all that junk and my hand wasn't perfectly steady. The chandelier shot is my favourite type of shot - it is at 10mm taken right on the floor.
The school was a real gem because it has been closed up tightly until very recently. Even though there was some damage and graffiti - it was in pretty pristine condition for these places.
Fascinating series Vanessa. Nicely done HDR in the first two and you have done real justice to the subject in all the images. The old school has a great combo of gloom and light.
I have always been leery of going into abandoned buildings. Being on the outside doesn't seem to make me feel like I am trespassing, going in always does. No reflection on you, just my own personal feeling. Too bad really because as your images point out I am missing and integral part of the structure.
