Helpful Posts: A couple blocks from my home is this cell phone tower that has become these Turkey Vultures' favorite roost. There are 20+ here and more may arrive before nightfall. This must be a good area for them since their numbers seems to be growing. They are graceful fliers.
Shot with a 500 mm. They have made quite a mess of the equipment. I image the equipment service personnel would like to shoot them with something a bit more lethal.

Very cool shot. You must have a lot of road kill around there to feed them all. Odd that so many would gather together to compete over the food supply.

There will probably be a little bit of warmth coming from their perch and they obviously have not done any reading on the suspected health dangers of long term exposure to radio waves.
