Homestead Tackles Homelessness
The Harvey Woods Company is located in Woodstock, Ontario and was an active textile manufacturer from the early 1900's until it was forced to close in 1990. In the 1970's, at it's peak, it employed close to 1,000 local workers.
Instead of destroying the original building, the Homestead Christian Care group has acquired it and will renovate it into affordable housing for Woodstock residents.
We were granted unlimited access to take photos. Our photos will be used at auction to raise funding for the renovations.

You caught the light in these old buildings really well. Very subtle and well balanced. Keep them coming. I like this genre of images and it is a bit of an inspiration to me
