I went for an EF 85mm f/1.8 USM and an EF 135mm f/2L USM. And I did use both for candids/portraits/event on crop, but I seem to have made a shift to shooting wider on full frame, and I still use both. I also use an adapted C/Y Zeiss Planar 100/2, but that would be an insane recommendation.

Just me, but the Canon lenses I'd look at are the EF 85/1.8 USM, the EF 100/2 USM, the EF 135/2.8 soft focus, and the EF 135 f/2L USM. Sigma's 85/1.4 HSM may also be worth a look-see. Or the EF 70-200/2.8L IS USM II (expensive!). Most of the fast primes in the 85-135 focal length range are gonna be good.

    85/1.8 on XT:

    New lens suggestions.
Christopher Moore. Canon XT. EF 85mm f/1.8 USM. iso 400, f/1.8, 1/60s. handheld.

    135L on XT:
    New lens suggestions.
Christopher Moore (same shoot). Canon XT. EF 135mm f/2L USM. iso 1600, f/2, 1/160s. handheld.

For indoor portraits all you will ever need is an EF 50mm f1.4 USM. On your 60D it will give you the equivalent of an 80mm portrait lens. Anything longer will require greater camera to subject distance which can be a PITA indoors unless you have a really big room, and anything shorter will produce perspective distortion which is not good for portraits. You will only need a zoom if your tripod is bolted to the floor or you think it is.
