Long exposure post processing help needed
Shot this in the Dominican on the Atlantic side just before moonrise.
ISO 800
f8.0
176s
I think the green in the water foreground is caused by some stray light (tried to get as far away as I could) but I am not sure as to the best way to remove the green.
Help!!!!

Re: Long exposure post processing help needed
create a layer mask for the bottom of the image. Adjust the layer with a hue and saturation adjustment ,of the green and yellow channels.

What Steve said. I did this though you may not agree with these tweaks but you could adjust to your taste. Too much noise in the image, perhaps you could take 15 sec exposures and stack them up to get better streaks if that's the purpose.

Re: Long exposure post processing help needed
I wonder at the purpose of the line of white dots but my solution is to shoot the sea when you have more light and replace the sea in this shot you have. Shooting perhap not at night but at dusk? Sea is Sea is Sea etc so you don't need to return to Dominican.

Actually kinda like the original, maybe to tweak it select the sea and work on it alone or you'll end up grainy like in 2nd tweak but for me its the combination of colors in the sea and the sky I like. As I don't know what you were seeing on the day its hard to judge but its a colorful pic & I kinda like it.
