White, or pale coloured, flowers against a darker background are always difficult when you only have one shot. The only option is to expose for the bright area then attempt to recover any over dark problems with editing.
Getting sufficient depth of sharp focus is another potential problem. Sometimes, all you can do is to get the closest point sharply focused and let the rest gradually blur.
The alternative in both cases is to take multiple shots then merge them together. But you need suitable software and shooting outside with any wind blowing is often impossible.
