Chippy
Sometimes the best source of material is your own backyard. I shot this out my home office/spare room/photo blind.
Chipping Sparrow
Nikon D90; Sigma 400mm APO telemacro 5.6; f5.6; 1/160 sec; iso 1250; tripod
The problem that I face is the lack of sun sue to shade. I am experimenting with a sufficiently low iso that will provide a shutter speed fast enough to capture the birds with minimal noise. I can then denoise in LR and CS4 for the final image. I'm finding that it is a fine balance

Re: Chippy
Beautiful image with fine details. It is amazing that at ISO 1250 you have created such a noise-free image!
