    That's a really nice study and another keeper for me. The conversion is spot on as well.

    Thanks John. As you can see from the ISO, it wasn't particularly light even though there was quite even lighting on the subject and his stock from a shop opposite. In cases like this, where there is no direct reference to the time of day, I try to make the B&W conversion look a little more subdued and toned down.

    It's the light on, and the resulting light and shade on his clothes that, for me, absolutely make this. You have brought them up beautifully in the making of the picture. Just wonderful.

    Thanks for the kind words, Donald. I don't know what I'd do if it wasn't for these clothes. You've hit the nail on the head about what makes my images stand out a bit - it's those baggy trousers and tops!
