    Cemetary

I was inspired by this thread How to take images of an old cemetery ? to go out and shoot some shots in a cemetery. I have only just had a chance while travelling in Canada....

Very nice images. You picked a very unusual place to explore and record. It is a place that time forgot. Certainly not of the 21st century. Congratulations.

The church is in the Nicola valley in BC. The graves really make clear what life was like back in the late 1800s. There was one for a mother who died and her daughter passed away 19 days later... at the age of 19 days. Childbirth was far from easy without the support of modern hospitals.

Great images Dan.The first is my favourite. The church is such a simple and honest building.
The Italians have great cemetaries. If anyone has the time try a GIS on staglieno cemetary genoa.
My own experience in the local cemetary is that both colour and B/W can work.
