Anybody use ViewNX2.
Having a problem with it I get a error message saying EMail i.d./password incorrect .
Please enter correct Email password in Nikon Image space settings dialog.
I have done that but still get the error message.
Also when I click on a photo to lookat it it doesn't upload to look at.
So I tried changing the name of the folder to see if that would help
it did not.
In fact the photos that where not coming up all together disappeared.
So is there a fix for this problem.
On a MacBook Pro os 10.8.4
Thanks

Re: Anybody use ViewNX2.
I do use ViewNX2 extensively but am not a Mac user so can't offer any suggestions. The Windows version has been fairly trouble free for me for years.

Re: Anybody use ViewNX2.
I'll have to agree with Dan on View NX2 as I am generally a Windows user. It sounds like your problem isn't, with View NX2, but rather with Nikon's Image Space. It is something that I do not use; are you sure that you are entering the correct user ID and password?
There are far better solutions out there if you want to store images on the web; Google's Picassa and Yahoo's Flickr are two of the most common ones and free ones. You might want to consider using them; frankly I don't know anyone who actually uses Nikon Image Space

I don't use it just a few photos on it.
Before it was a error message saying something else, but yea using right email and password.
It could be my Mac the touch pad is not moving now when I try to move it.

Re: Anybody use ViewNX2.
Have you tried a different browser?
I had problems with Adobe's Behance website on one particular function when using Firefox, but when I switched to Chrome, no problems.

Re: Anybody use ViewNX2.
Donald,
I actually used ViewNX yesterday for the first time in many months. I seem to recall that when initially loading this software there may have been an option to load the 'Nikon Image Space' or not. May be worth looking at this and reloading or deleting that item.

Re: Anybody use ViewNX2.
Donald - I really haven't got a clue as to what you are doing with View NX2.
First of all, you can't upload to it, as it is simply a piece of software. You download image files from your camera to your computer's hard drive, either directly by plugging your camera into the computer via a USB cable or using a card reader. You can also, if you want, use Nikon's cloud service (used to be called PictureTown and was renamed to NIKON IMAGE SPACE earlier this year). With the D7100 24MP, this is going to take a long time, depending on your internet upload speed. You probably don't want to do that.
All that being said, the software will attempt to load your pictures onto your computer. I've never used View NX2 on a Mac, so haven't got a clue where it puts them; check in the default images folder, as that's where they go into a subfolder on a PC.
To use Lightroom, all you have to do is start up Lightroom, find the folder where the files are with the Library module, identify the files / folders and import them into LR..
