Oh well! We'll just have to enjoy it then.
Tremendous sky.
No apology needed. When nature presents you with something this magnificent then it would be rude not to notice. And share. The day I am blase about rainbows and glorious sunrises/sets will be the day I should chuck the whole thing in.
Not just another sunset. I've never seen a sunset with the rays of light so well defined. Great capture!
Really appreciate the kind comments.
Thanks Donald. My son in law was driving and as we exited the highway, stopping at a red light on the off ramp this was what I saw. I had to be quick, shooting from a car in traffic is not always easy.
Thanks Trevor. Sunsets/rises, rainbows, thunder storms, and all those glorious moments nature presents us are God's Canvasses. What a privilege to be able to capture those moments.
Thanks Mike. I often see sunsets with rays of light so well defined. I will surely make and effort of capturing more of those moments in time.
It's a nice shot Andre - but I think a little output sharpening (say, 100% @ 0.3px) would make it even better
With a sky like that why wouldn't you capture it - or even just sit there and enjoy it. Thanks for sharing it .
Gorgeous light and yes, a very beautiful sky... Thank you for sharing.
Don't apologise, its a beautiful shot. I agree with Trevor, there are some things one should never tire of. And the picture is all the poignant for me as the foreground is of an area which I guess is not too beautiful to look at or live in - thankfully nature doesn't discriminate in who it makes its beauty available to and this shot adds beauty all round - well done.
The last sunset would sound eerie.
Thank you for all you nice people making such nice comments.
Colin: resizing does seem to degrade my IQ quite a bit.
Yes - that's to be expected and is normal, because information is removed and a lot of that information is sharpening enhancement -- hence the reason we do output sharpening.
Just try adding an unsharp mast of between 50 & 100% @ 0.3px after down-sampling, and it'll correct it nicely.
