Interesting light. Just curious, is the sun low enough to the horizon in summer to get a dramatic black storm sky with objects in the foreground brightly lit? Or is the arc of the sun's traverse too close to 90 degrees to the earth surface?
Andre, I really can't say why but I find this image compelling to look at. I like it a lot. My only suggestion to crop a bit off the top -- just a small amount.

Hi Andre.
This image does not show as well on my monitor. The sky looks washed out. I downloaded it, reduced the highlights and increased the contrast to bring out the darkness in the clouds. I could then see the rain just above the trees. Not sure if that is what you intended or not. My two cents worth.
Ken beat me to it, but I got the same thing.

That looks better but still too much sky loss for me. I had it reduced (lower highs and more contrast) further and it really gave the impression of an angry sky. But yeah, what you did here helps us see the rain above the treeline. This is a really tough contrast range, to be sure!
Hope you don't mind and is not poor form, but here's what I did.
