Re: Frontenac castle Quebec city
I've seen a few photos of this hotel Jim and I have to say that this is one of the best.
Great job

That's nice Jim and the exposure is on the nail. Perhaps a tiny slice off the LHS but what the hell it's an excellent shot.

Hi Jim, I am a sucker for these night shots. Nice clear crisp shot.

Very nice shot Jimmy!
I'm heading to Quebec City later on this week on business, but suspect I won't have room for a lot of camera gear (especially a tripod) or the time to get over to the Levis side of the river at night to try for a shot like yours.

Re: Frontenac castle Quebec city
Thank you very much for the comments folks!
John, i know what you mean about the LHS, i kind of tried it but i wanted to keep as much as the rampart as possible, i really like that part of the terrace.
Manfred, that's a shame! its the perfect time for evening shots comes September, sunset's not too late and they are rather long, lots of potential.

Re: Frontenac castle Quebec city
I'll get there again. I usually end up going to Quebec City at least once a year. Right now the forecast for Thu night is cloudy and rainy, but that's still too far in the future to take things seriously.
